We offer a focused Energy Services Group, which positions us to provide sustainable energy solutions to a diverse customer base. This includes facilities of every existing size and complexity. Our services have helped shape industrial facilities, food processing plants, medical centers, cutting-edge data centers, power plants, and wastewater treatment facilities.
Some of our notable sustainable accomplishments include numerous LEED Silver, Gold, and Platinum Certified office buildings, as well as laboratory and wastewater plants, the most energy efficient medical facility in the Pacific Northwest, and the first retrofit installations of oil-free refrigerant compressors in the Northwest.
Using an Integrated Project Delivery technique, UMC’s project team delivered a 175,000 sq. ft. high-performance office building with remarkably low energy usage, beating ASHRAE 90.1 energy standards by 40%. Fed Center South was awarded the 2013 Best in State, Silver award winner for engineering excellence by the ACEC Washington.
