Kirk Baisch has been with UMC for 10 years. He oversees UMC’s safety program and has helped lead UMC to several industry safety awards in the last several years. He loves the opportunities for problem-solving, innovation, teamwork, and strategic analysis this job brings.
Kirk promotes UMC’s culture of safety with his commitment to continued education and best practices. He received a degree in loss control management and occupational safety from Central Washington University. He is actively involved in several trade groups in the Washington area, and has held leadership positions in several organizations including the DOSH Construction Advisory Committee, AGC Safety, MCAWW Safety Committee, SMACNA Risk Management Committee, and Approach Management Committee.
When not ensuring the safety of his colleagues, Kirk enjoys travel, boating, and scuba diving.
