Dava Pacheco recently joined UMC’s Human Resources (HR) department as HR Generalist 2. In her role, she will focus on supporting HR with recruiting new talent, onboarding new employees, training and development planning as well as supporting many other aspects of UMC.
With a bachelor’s degree in business management-HR and a master's degree in management in leadership, Pacheco has led both small and large teams for the last 20 years. These roles and experiences have shaped her management style and allowed her to become the active listener, problem solver, and team builder she is today. Pacheco prides herself on her ability to develop and build lasting relationships between direct reports, managers, and customers. She enjoys collaborating with people and exploring the full scope of complex issues to establish meaningful and comprehensive solutions.
In her spare time, Pacheco enjoys reading and spending time in the great outdoors with her husband and two dogs.
