Elijah Seenandan recently joined UMC’s Major Projects Group as Project Engineer. In his role, he assists in coordinating with the field, communicating with vendors, creating and documenting submittals, conducting diagnostic tests on mechanical systems, and quality control and assurance on jobsites.

With a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering as well as a degree in computer science from the University of Washington, Seenandan brings strong communication, effective collaboration, and the ability to learn and adapt to multiple project needs quickly. Recently he completed a mechanical engineering internship at a rifle manufacturing company where he managed tracking inventory and performance metrics, assembling mechanical components, and identifying imperfections in the mechanical mechanisms. During this internship, Seenanded coordinated project goals with the engineering team, documented analyses of mechanisms, led activities to validate and verify mechanical system requirements and maintained compliance with quality standards.

Off the clock, Seenandan enjoys cooking, traveling to new places, strength training, developing programs, and 3D modeling.
