UMC is partnering with the Washington State Family Child Care Association to provide handwashing stations to help meet the needs of child care providers for cleaner and safer environments.

Child care facilities have unique needs when it comes to hand hygiene. One of those is bringing outdoor learning opportunities to kids, yet keeping young hands clean and germ-free when sinks are located inside. Portable sinks are incredibly beneficial for working with children. Being able to have a sink outdoors will help with recess time and exploration. UMC’s portable sinks bring affordable and accessible handwashing options for child care facilities.

The Washington State Department of Children, Youth & Families, has set up the Spring 2021 Child Care COVID-19 Grant. TheSPRING 2021 CHILD CARE, COVID-19 GRANT FUNDSwill be an opportunity for child care providers to purchase portable hygiene stations for their businesses.
