Justin Cobb, CEM, PMP, recently joined the Facility Service Group as the Service Projects Team Manager. In his role, he will help create scalable product offerings that will streamline UMC’s processes allowing the team to sell and manage projects at an elevated level.

With a degree in nuclear energy from Thomas Edison State University, Cobb is a Certified Energy Manager, Project Management Professional (PMP), previously certified welder (GTAW), and data center certified associate, and he is currently studying for the Professional Engineer (PE) exam.

Cobb has a large breadth of experience that spans many industries from industrial and manufacturing to nuclear and class-A office high-rises. As a self-proclaimed “problem solver,” he values the coordinated team effort needed to drive projects to successful closeouts. In previous roles, he has held subject matter expert positions with contractors, consultants and as the owner. His experience on every side of a project has afforded a unique perspective that allows Cobb to understand the unique value every interaction and relationship brings to the project lifecycle.

Off the clock, Cobb gravitates toward spending his time on anything with an engine or wheels: mountain biking, performance cars, or taking his family out on the boat.
