Todd Ryland recently joined the Finance Department as Assistant Controller. In this position, Ryland will support department leaders across UMC to stay organized and manage their fiscal needs.
As someone that loves math, data analysis, and building tangible projects, Ryland has found a solid match for his expertise and passions. After graduating with his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in accounting from Gonzaga University, Ryland became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2013. His financial management background will give Ryland the insight to ensure that UMC projects are meeting budgetary standards.
Prior to UMC, Ryland spent 10 years in both private and public accounting. For eight of those years, he was a financial statement auditor with Moss Adams, working directly with construction, manufacturing, and public utility companies.
Ryland is more than a talented number cruncher. Outside of the office, you can find Ryland spending his time with family, golfing, and skiing. He is an avid Seattle sports fan and enjoys rooting for the Mariners and the Seahawks.
