UMC is proud to announce that Sydney Armitage, Energy Engineer, has joined the Women’s Energy Network (WEN) in the Pacific Northwest as the Development Director. WEN is a global organization of professionals who work across the energy value chain with a mission to provide networking opportunities and foster the career and leadership development of women who work in the energy industries.
Sydney is joining a newly formed board with a renewed focus on fostering a community of women that support each other and their continued success in the industries and communities served. The board is planning the official launch event for summer 2023 with events throughout the year, ranging from educational luncheons and evening events to career development training to mentorship programs to networking events, including happy hours.
