Martin Clinton, Building Performance Services Manager, Miles Gordon, Building Performance Specialist, and David McCaughey, Sr. Business Developer hosted a webinar for K-12 facilities built between 1960 and 2020. The trio talked through key points building operators should keep in mind while preparing for occupancy including:

  • A hierarchy of mitigation strategies
  • Air exchanges are critical and how can that be achieved while not causing undue harm to the equipment
  • Legionella (Legionnaires Disease) produces similar symptoms as COVID. This is something that is important to inspect for during a time when buildings are being underutilized for extended periods
  • Hand washing hygiene – strategically placed portable wash stations
