A SEA of upgrades

SeaTac’s vision for its Stage 3 upgrades can be summarized as improving occupant comfort coupled with improving efficiency and reducing the facilities’ carbon footprint. Renewing and replacing old systems with new energy-efficient equipment were the tactile steps to ensure their vision was realized. With a history of partnership, UMC was tasked with the preliminary design, creation of investment-grade audits, and managing self-performed mechanical, electrical and controls work, as well as the insulation subcontractors’ work.
