1100 Eastlake

Approximately 150,000 sq. ft. Class A office and lab space developed for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.  The project went from purchase to occupied in 18 months.  In addition to the already tight schedule, there was a significant challenge of completing various modifications required to prepare the existing building.  The project transformed the spec office/lab building into a fully-functional high-performance office and lab building, along with an evaporatively cooled data center, similar to  a previously highly acclaimed data center UMC designed.  A new chiller and boiler plant anchor the building, and a plethora of design elements make this building one of the most energy efficient in the city.
