Isabella Bush Record Building

UMC teamed with the State of Washington’s Department of Enterprise Services to provide an energy efficient makeover for a climate controlled storage building that houses millions of public records. The existing hot water heating system was upgraded to a high efficiency condensing boiler with new variable flow pumping and new controls. UMC installed and commissioned a new variable flow distribution system and high bay de-stratification fans with heating HW coils connected to the return water side of the distribution loop.
