Spokane Waste Water Treatment Plant
Mechanical for new wastewater treatment facility. Scope includes process and utility piping and equipment installation, foul air ducting, and HVAC. The use of Membrane Bioreactors and nutrient removal treatment systems are improving water quality and the environment by reducing phosphorous discharge levels to below 50 parts per billion. The Facility produces Class A reclaimed water, whose criteria is among the most stringent in the country. The installed cogeneration system generates 250 kW of electrical power from digester gas which is used within the plant. Using this “Green Power” helps the environment and reduces electrical costs for the County. Sludge is anaerobically digested to produce Class B biosolids.
