With an impressive 30-year career in the facilities and industrial space, Clarence is a seasoned leader known for propelling businesses to new heights. As the Director of Facility Services, he brings his invaluable expertise to streamline processes and support the growth of UMC's Facility Services Group.

Clarence's impressive career journey began in the Navy, where he honed his skills as an electrician; and later joined the building trades. Throughout his career, Clarence has held key leadership positions, leaving a trail of success behind him. One of his most recent roles was with CenTrio (formerly Enwave Seattle Steam), where he served as the General Manager, overseeing the Pacific Northwest portfolio of district energy plants. This diverse portfolio included a 640k PPH steam plant in Seattle, a 4,500-ton chiller plant in Portland, and an ambient loop wastewater heat recovery system in Denver.

Clarence is a testament to the importance of continuous learning and self-improvement. He holds accolades from the University of Washington Foster School of Business's Executive Development Program, and he has completed various technical training courses at Renton Technical College and North Seattle College.

Beyond his technical expertise, Clarence is renowned for his client-focused approach, strong leadership skills, and passion for helping teams grow. His creative and strategic thinking have enabled him to push the envelope and elevate businesses in various sectors.
