UMC is proud to be on the Puyallup Tribe of Indians (PToI) team undertaking a 95,000-square-foot tribal administration building and four-story parking garage at 2024 E. 29th St. in Tacoma. UMC is the Design Build mechanical and plumbing contractor, and our scope includes shell/core, tenant improvement, and a data center.
The project is the first step in developing the tribe's planned 18-acre entertainment district next to its $400 million Emerald Queen Casino and 155-room hotel. The project team had a topping-out celebration on October 11th, 2023 to celebrate the final beam being put in place.
The project team includes UMC, Wright Runstad, JTM, Freiheit Architecture, and many others.
