Corey Clausen recently joined UMC’s Building Automation Groups as an Engineer. In his role he is focused on hardware and software engineering, as well as supporting control installations throughout each project.

With a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington in Geology, Clausen has always had a mechanical and electrical mindset. After an introduction to the world of building automation and controls, he found a natural fit between his passion, education, and real-world experience. Clausen’s experience spans many project sizes and markets including education, healthcare, military, and commercial business. He has held positions in operations, project management, engineering and design, as well as a field level technician.

In his free time, Clausen enjoys being outdoors, snowboarding in the winter, and hiking in the summer. When the outdoor adventures slow down, he has a long list of house projects to complete.
