UMC is proud to announce that David Park, Ph.D, PE, CEM, BEMP, Building Analysis & Modeling Manager has been awarded the BOMA/Yardi Sustainability Scholarship to attend the 2023 BOMA International Conference & Expo in Kansas City, MO.
David's application exemplified his fervor for advocating sustainable practices in the building management industry. His eagerness to comprehend the challenges and opportunities inherent in this sector and to implement sustainable practices within his organization reflects his unwavering dedication.

ABOUT THE AWARD:
The scholarship is awarded to a select group of recipients who are emerging or veteran professionals working in sustainability to attend the 2023 BOMA International Conference & Expo in Kansas City, MO. The scholarship covers registration plus up to $1000 to be used toward reimbursement of other associated costs (travel, hotel, food, etc.). Scholarship recipients will also be paired with an industry sustainability mentor, attend a special breakfast session in their honor, and receive free tickets to the TOBY Awards Banquet in addition to the full conference registration.
